Possible Causes

Failed booster heater element, Faulty booster thermostat or NTC sensor, Limescale buildup on booster heater, Insufficient incoming hot water temperature

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Isolate electrical power and allow the booster tank to cool before opening any covers.

  • Verify incoming water temperature: Many Wexiodisk dishwashers require a minimum inlet temperature (e.g., 50–60°C). Measure the hot water supply at the machine’s inlet. If too low, adjust the building water heater.
  • Inspect booster heater: Access the booster tank and locate the heating element terminals. Check for burnt connectors or discoloration.
  • Test booster element: Disconnect wiring and measure resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed element that must be replaced.
  • Check booster thermostat/NTC: Test continuity of any safety thermostats and measure NTC resistance. Replace if out of specification.
  • Descale booster: If allowed by the manufacturer, drain the booster tank and descale using an approved descaling agent to remove limescale from the element and tank walls.

If E05 persists after verifying supply temperature and replacing faulty components, the control board’s heater drive circuit may be defective and should be checked by a Wexiodisk service partner.
