Possible Causes

Stuck water inlet valve letting water in continuously, Blocked overflow or level tube, Faulty pressure switch stuck in low-level position, Control board not closing inlet valve relay

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off power and close the water supply immediately to prevent flooding.

  • Shut off water: Close the supply tap feeding the dishwasher. If water continues to enter, the inlet valve is mechanically stuck and must be replaced.
  • Inspect overflow system: Remove side panel and locate the overflow/level tube and chamber. Clean any grease or limescale that could block air flow to the pressure switch.
  • Check pressure switch: Remove the pressure hose and blow through it to clear blockages. Test the switch with a multimeter while applying gentle pressure. Replace if it does not change state.
  • Test inlet valve: With power off, check the valve coil resistance. If the valve leaks water even with no power applied and the water tap open, replace the valve assembly.

Persistent E06 after valve and pressure system checks may indicate a control board fault; contact a qualified technician.
