Machine displays E08 and may not start; door or hood appears closed but cycle will not run.

Safety: Disconnect power before adjusting or replacing door components.

• Check door/hood closure: Ensure the door or hood is fully closed and properly aligned. On hood-type Wexiodisk machines, verify the hood comes down evenly on both sides.
• Inspect latch and striker: Look for bent or worn latch parts that may prevent the microswitch from actuating. Adjust or replace the latch or striker plate as needed.
• Test door switch: Access the door or hood switch behind the front panel. Use a multimeter to check continuity when the door is closed. Replace the switch if it does not change state reliably.
• Check wiring: Inspect the harness from the switch to the control board for broken conductors or loose connectors, especially in areas that flex when the door moves.

After repair, verify that the machine only runs with the door/hood fully closed to maintain operator safety.
