Possible Causes
Blocked rinse pump impeller, Air lock in rinse circuit, Faulty rinse pump motor, Defective rinse pump capacitor (on single-phase models)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power and close water supply before opening the rinse circuit.
- Locate rinse pump: Typically mounted near the booster tank on Wexiodisk dishwashers. Identify the small pump feeding the rinse arms.
- Check for blockages: Remove inlet and outlet hoses and inspect for scale or debris. Clean the pump housing and impeller.
- Bleed air: After reassembly, open any bleed screws (if fitted) or run a few short cycles to purge air from the rinse line.
- Test motor and capacitor: Measure motor winding resistance and inspect the start/run capacitor for bulging or leakage. Replace the capacitor if suspect.
If the pump receives correct voltage but does not run or is noisy and weak, replace the complete rinse pump assembly.
