Possible Causes
Open or shorted NTC sensor in wash tank, Damaged wiring harness to sensor, Incorrect sensor type fitted, Moisture ingress in sensor connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and allow the machine to cool before touching sensors.
- Locate NTC sensor: On Wexiodisk dishwashers, the NTC is usually mounted in the wash tank wall or sump, or in the booster tank for rinse temperature.
- Inspect wiring: Check the sensor cable for cuts, crushed sections, or loose plugs at the control board.
- Measure resistance: Disconnect the sensor and measure its resistance at room temperature. Compare to the Wexiodisk service chart. A reading near 0 Ω (short) or infinite (open) indicates a failed sensor.
- Replace sensor: If faulty, install a genuine Wexiodisk NTC sensor of the correct value and reseal any grommets to prevent leaks.
Clear the error by cycling power and run a test cycle to confirm stable temperature readings.
