Poor Drying Performance / Extended Dry Times
Dryer takes too long to dry; cycles run much longer than normal and clothes are still slightly damp.

Possible Causes
Restricted exhaust vent, Dirty lint filter housing, Partially failed heating element, Faulty moisture sensor calibration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before cleaning internal passages.
Steps:
- Check vent length and condition: Ensure the vent run is as short and straight as possible. Remove and clean the vent hose and wall duct thoroughly.
- Clean lint filter housing: Vacuum deep inside the lint filter slot to remove hidden lint.
- Run timed dry test: Use a timed high-heat cycle with a normal load. If drying improves, the moisture sensor may be dirty or misreading.
- Clean moisture sensor bars: Wipe the sensor bars inside the drum with alcohol to restore accurate sensing.
