How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the dryer to cool completely.
Steps:
- Clean airflow path: Thoroughly clean lint filter, filter housing, blower housing, and exhaust duct.
- Inspect heater housing: Remove rear panel and inspect the heater housing for lint accumulation. Clean carefully.
- Test thermostats: Use a multimeter to check continuity of the cycling thermostat and high-limit thermostat. Replace any open components.
