Dryer emits a burning smell during operation

Safety first: Immediately switch off and unplug the dryer if you smell burning. Do not continue to use until the cause is found.

• Check heater area: Remove the rear panel to inspect the heater housing. Remove any lint build-up or foreign objects.

• Check motor: If the smell is near the motor and it is very hot or noisy, the motor may be failing and should be replaced.
