Possible Causes
Dirty or coated moisture sensor bars, Broken sensor wiring, Faulty moisture sensor module, Poor drum contact with sensor due to small load
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before accessing sensor wiring.
- Clean sensor bars: Thoroughly clean the metal moisture sensor strips inside the drum with a non-abrasive cleaner to remove residues.
- Check load size: Avoid very small loads on sensor programs; use timed drying or add a few extra items to improve contact.
- Inspect wiring: Access the rear of the sensor bars and ensure the wires are secure and undamaged.
- Test on timed program: If timed drying works normally, but sensor programs end early, the moisture sensing circuit or PCB may be faulty and require replacement.
