Dryer powers on but will not start when Start/Pause is pressed; a beep may sound but nothing happens.

Safety first: Do not force the door closed; damage to the latch can occur.

• Check display icons: Look for a child lock symbol or delayed start indicator. Disable child lock per the user manual and cancel any delay timer.
• Verify door closure: Open and close the door firmly until it clicks. If the door feels loose or misaligned, inspect the hinges and latch.
• Empty water tank: On condenser and heat pump models, remove and empty the water tank, then refit it correctly.
• Test door switch: If accessible, test the door switch/interlock for continuity when the door is closed. Replace if faulty.
