Dryer stops mid-cycle and the water tank full indicator lights, but the tank is empty or nearly empty.

Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing the sump or float area.

• Remove and reseat tank: Take out the water tank and check for damage to the tank contacts or magnets (if used). Refit securely.
• Clean float and chamber: Access the sump and float assembly. Remove lint and sludge so the float can move freely.
• Test float switch: Use a multimeter to check the float switch operation while moving the float. Replace if it does not change state.
• Inspect wiring: Ensure the harness from the float switch to the PCB is intact and firmly connected.
