Possible Causes

Blocked condensate pump, Blocked water level chamber or hose, Failed condensate pump motor, Faulty water level sensor or float switch

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect the appliance from mains. Water and electricity are a dangerous combination; dry any spills before working.

  • Empty water tank: If your Beko dryer has a removable water tank, slide it out and empty it completely. Reinsert it fully until it clicks.
  • Clean pump area: Access the condenser compartment and lower sump area. Remove lint, fluff, and debris that may block water flow to the pump.
  • Check pump operation: With the dryer reassembled and briefly powered (only if you are competent and safe), start a cycle and listen for the pump running when water should be evacuated. If it is silent, the pump may be faulty.
  • Inspect hoses and float: Unplug again, then check the small hoses from the sump to the pump and any float chamber for blockages. Clean thoroughly.
  • Test pump motor: Disconnect the pump and measure coil resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed pump that must be replaced.
  • If pump and hoses are OK: The water level sensor or control board input may be defective. Professional diagnosis is recommended.
