Possible Causes
Loose or damaged wiring between display board and main PCB, Failed user interface (UI) board, Faulty communication circuit on main PCB, Moisture ingress into control panel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before removing the control panel or top cover.
- Check for moisture: Inspect the control fascia for signs of condensation or liquid spills. Allow the panel to dry completely if moisture is present.
- Inspect ribbon cables: Remove the control panel and check the ribbon cable or harness between the UI board and main PCB. Reseat connectors and ensure they are fully latched.
- Look for damage: Examine both boards for burn marks, cracked solder joints, or corrosion.
- Test buttons and knob: Ensure the program selector knob engages correctly and that buttons are not stuck.
- Replace faulty board: If the UI board is unresponsive or physically damaged, replace it with the correct Beko spare. If communication faults remain, the main PCB may also require replacement.
