Possible Causes
Faulty water level float switch, Blocked water level chamber, Defective water tank presence switch, Wiring fault to level sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the dryer from mains before accessing internal components.
- Empty and reseat water tank: Remove the condensate tank, empty it fully, and reinstall it firmly until it locks in place.
- Clean float chamber: Access the sump/float area (usually behind the lower front panel). Remove lint and sludge that may prevent the float from moving freely.
- Check float switch: Test the float switch or level sensor with a multimeter while moving the float. Replace if it does not change state.
- Inspect wiring: Ensure the harness from the float switch to the PCB is intact and connectors are secure.
- If E13 persists: The level detection circuit on the control board may be faulty and require replacement.
