Possible Causes

Blocked blower housing with lint, Broken or loose fan wheel, Failed fan motor (if separate from main motor), Faulty airflow or pressure sensor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the dryer. Sharp metal edges inside the cabinet can cause injury; wear gloves.

  • Clean lint filter and ducts: Remove and clean the lint filter. Inspect internal ducts for heavy lint build-up and clean thoroughly.
  • Access blower assembly: Remove the rear or side panel to reach the blower housing. Check that the fan wheel is firmly attached to the shaft and free of obstructions.
  • Check fan motor (if separate): On some models, a dedicated fan motor is used. Test for power and continuity; replace if not running.
  • Inspect airflow sensor: If fitted, check the wiring to any pressure or airflow sensor and ensure it is not blocked.
  • Reassemble and test: After cleaning and securing the fan, run a test cycle to see if E14 clears.
