Moisture Sensor / Dryness Detection Fault
Dryer stops and displays E07; may occur shortly after starting, often on condenser models.

Possible Causes
Dirty or coated drum front moisture sensor bars, Broken or disconnected moisture sensor wiring, Faulty moisture sensor module, Defective main control PCB moisture circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before working on internal wiring.
Clean the moisture sensors:
- Locate the metal sensor bars inside the drum, usually near the door opening on the front bulkhead.
- Clean the bars thoroughly with a non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth or fine scouring pad to remove fabric softener residue and lint. Ensure they are dry before use.
Check wiring:
- Access the rear of the front bulkhead by removing the top and possibly the front panel.
- Verify that the sensor wires are firmly connected to the bars and to the harness leading to the control board.
- Look for broken wires or loose spade connectors and repair as needed.
Component testing:
- If your model uses a separate moisture sensor module, inspect it for damage and check continuity through the sensor circuit.
After cleaning and repairs: Reassemble the dryer, reconnect power, and run an automatic cycle with a small load. If E07 reappears, the control PCB may not be processing sensor signals correctly and may need replacement by a professional.
