Possible Causes
Blocked exhaust duct or vent hose, Faulty exhaust NTC sensor, Poor drum sealing causing incorrect airflow, Control PCB temperature processing fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer and allow it to cool.
Air path checks:
- On vented models, remove and clean the vent hose and wall outlet thoroughly.
- On condenser models, clean the condenser and internal ducts as per the user manual.
- Inspect the door seal and front felt seal for damage that could alter airflow.
Sensor check:
- Locate the exhaust NTC sensor (often in the outlet duct) and test its resistance at room temperature.
- Replace if open circuit or clearly out of specification.
If E17 persists: The main PCB may be misinterpreting temperature data and could require replacement by a technician.
