Dryer door is hard to open or sticks closed after cycle

• Inspect door gasket: Check the rubber or felt seal around the door opening for damage, swelling, or misplacement. Clean it with mild soap and water.
• Lubricate latch lightly: With power off, apply a very small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the latch mechanism (avoid overspray on plastics).
• Check alignment: Verify the door closes squarely. Adjust hinges if the door appears twisted or misaligned.
