Dryer drum light does not turn on when door is opened

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before replacing the bulb or accessing wiring.

• Replace bulb: Remove the drum light cover and replace the bulb with the correct type and wattage specified by Electrolux.
• Test door switch: If the new bulb does not light, test the door switch for continuity when the door is open/closed. Replace if faulty.
• Inspect socket wiring: Check that the wires to the light socket are secure and not damaged.

If the light still does not work but the dryer otherwise operates normally, the control board's light circuit may be defective.
