Blocked condensate drain channel, Cracked or disconnected drain hose inside unit, Full or misaligned water tank, Leaking condensate pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before removing panels. Be prepared for water spillage.
- Empty and reseat water tank: If equipped, remove the condensate tank, empty it, and reinstall it fully.
- Clean drain channel: Remove the lower front panel and condenser (if user-removable). Clean lint and debris from the drain channel and sump area.
- Inspect internal hoses: With the front or side panel removed (depending on model), check the small rubber hoses from the sump to the tank or drain outlet for cracks or disconnections. Reattach or replace as needed.
- Check condensate pump: Inspect the pump housing for cracks and ensure the outlet hose is secure. Replace the pump if it leaks or does not move water.
After repairs, run a short cycle and monitor for leaks before reassembling fully.
