Possible Causes

Blocked condensate drain hose, Failed condensate pump, Full or mis-seated water tank (if equipped), Blocked condenser housing

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing internal components. Water and electricity are a dangerous combination.

  • Empty water tank: If your Electrolux dryer has a removable water tank, pull it out and empty it completely. Reinsert it fully until it clicks into place.
  • Check drain hose: For models with a direct drain hose, inspect the hose for kinks, clogs, or elevation above the recommended height. Flush the hose with warm water to clear lint or scale.
  • Clean condenser area: Remove the lower front access panel and pull out the condenser (if user-removable). Rinse the condenser fins with warm water and remove lint from the housing and drain channel.
  • Inspect condensate pump: With power disconnected, access the pump (usually near the base). Check for lint or debris in the pump reservoir. Manually spin the impeller if accessible. If the pump is noisy, seized, or shows no continuity, replace the condensate pump assembly.

If E13 returns immediately after these steps, the water level sensor or main control board may be faulty and should be tested by a technician.
