Gorenje
Restricted Airflow / Reduced Heating Efficiency
Dryer takes too long to dry; cycles run much longer than usual and clothes are still damp.

Possible Causes
Clogged lint filter, Dirty condenser unit, Blocked exhaust duct (vented models), Failing heating element or partially blocked heater
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before deep cleaning internal parts.
- Clean lint filter thoroughly: Remove all lint and wash the filter with warm soapy water if it is coated with residue. Dry completely.
- Clean condenser (condenser/heat pump models): Remove the condenser from the bottom/front compartment. Rinse under running water until clear, then let it dry before reinstalling.
- Check exhaust duct (vented models): Disconnect the duct from the dryer and wall. Remove lint buildup and straighten any kinks. Ensure the outside vent flap opens freely.
- Inspect door seal: Check the door gasket for gaps or damage that could cause heat loss. Replace if worn.
- Test heating performance: After cleaning, run a small load. If drying is still poor, the heater may be weak or cycling off too early due to a faulty thermostat, requiring further diagnosis.
