How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before inspecting the tank system.
- Verify tank position: Remove and reinsert the water tank firmly until it clicks into place.
- Clean sensor area: Inspect the tank for a float or magnet and clean any scale or residue. Clean electrical contacts with a dry cloth.
- Check float movement: Ensure the float inside the tank moves freely and is not stuck by detergent residue.
- Inspect wiring: Access the area behind the tank housing and check the wiring to the level sensor or reed switch. Reseat connectors.
- Replace faulty sensor: If the sensor does not change state when the tank is full vs. empty (tested with a multimeter), replace the level sensor assembly.
