How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer. Do not force the door open if it is locked.
- Inspect door and seal: Check that the door closes evenly and the gasket is not deformed.
- Check door hook: If the hook is worn or broken, replace it. This is a common cause of intermittent door lock errors.
- Access door lock: Remove the front panel screws around the door opening and gently pull the front panel to access the lock assembly.
- Test lock: Disconnect the lock and test its terminals according to the wiring diagram (usually continuity changes when the lock is energized). Replace if it does not operate correctly.
- Check wiring to PCB: Ensure the harness from the lock to the control board is intact and firmly connected.
