• Check door and child lock: Ensure the door is firmly closed until it clicks. Verify that any child lock indicator is off; disable child lock according to the user manual.
• Test Start button: Press the Start/Pause button firmly. If it feels stuck or unresponsive, the button or UI PCB may be faulty.
• Inspect door switch: Access the door lock/switch assembly and test it with a multimeter for proper operation when the door is closed. Replace if defective.
• Control panel: If the door switch is good, the Start button contacts or UI PCB may need replacement.
