Dryer will not start; display shows E01 and a short beep when Start is pressed.

Safety first: Unplug the dryer from the mains before removing any panels. Do not bypass the door lock for operation.

• Check door closure: Open and firmly close the door. Ensure no laundry is trapped in the door seal and that the door clicks positively when closed.
• Inspect door latch hook: Examine the metal or plastic latch hook on the door. If it is bent, cracked, or loose, it may not engage the door interlock on the cabinet. Replace the latch hook if damaged.
• Test door lock switch: Remove the top cover (usually 2–3 screws at the back) and access the front panel area where the door lock assembly is mounted. Disconnect the dryer from power. Locate the door interlock assembly and check the wiring harness for loose or burnt connectors. Using a multimeter, test continuity of the door switch contacts when the door is closed. If the switch does not close electrically, replace the door lock assembly.
• Check harness to main PCB: Trace the door lock wiring back to the main control PCB. Reseat the connector on the PCB and inspect for corrosion or heat damage. If the harness is damaged, repair or replace it.
• If E01 persists: After replacing the door lock, reconnect power and test. If the error remains, the door input circuit on the main control PCB may be faulty and the board may need replacement by a qualified technician.
