Dryer stops and displays E05; may occur shortly after start, sometimes with no heat.

Possible Causes
Blocked lint filter, Clogged exhaust duct or wall vent, Blocked condenser unit (condenser models), Failed exhaust fan or blower wheel obstruction
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before removing panels or reaching into ducts. Do not operate the dryer with panels removed.
- Clean lint filter: Remove the lint filter and clean it thoroughly. Wash with warm soapy water if it is coated with fabric softener residue, then dry completely.
- Check exhaust duct (vented models): Pull the dryer away from the wall and disconnect the exhaust hose. Inspect the hose and wall vent for lint buildup, crushed sections, or bird nests. Clean or replace the hose as needed and ensure the wall flap opens freely.
- Clean condenser (condenser/heat pump models): Remove the condenser unit from the front access panel. Rinse it under running water until all lint is removed. Allow it to drain and dry before reinstalling.
- Inspect blower wheel: Remove the rear or side panel to access the blower housing. Check for lint clumps, socks, or other obstructions. Ensure the blower wheel is firmly attached to the motor shaft and not cracked.
- Check exhaust fan operation: Start a short cycle and feel for strong airflow at the vent (for vented models). Weak or no airflow with a running motor may indicate a broken blower wheel or blocked housing, which should be repaired or replaced.
- Reset and test: After cleaning and clearing all airflow paths, reconnect power and run a test cycle. If E05 persists, the airflow or pressure sensor (if fitted) or main control PCB may be faulty and require professional diagnosis.
