Dryer shows E07 and will not start; sometimes accompanied by a clicking sound from the control area.

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before accessing the control panel or PCB. Electronic components are sensitive to static discharge.

• Power reset: Disconnect the dryer from mains for at least 5 minutes to allow capacitors to discharge. Reconnect and try to start a cycle. Transient faults may clear with a reset.
• Inspect control connections: Remove the top cover and control panel fascia to access the main control PCB. Check all wiring harness connectors for secure fit. Look for signs of moisture, corrosion, or burnt components.
• Check for visible board damage: Examine the PCB for burnt tracks, swollen capacitors, or cracked solder joints, especially around relays and power components. If damage is visible, the board should be replaced.
• Firmware considerations: Some Gram models allow firmware updates via service tools. If the dryer recently lost power during operation, firmware corruption is possible and may require a service technician to reprogram or replace the PCB.
• Replace main control PCB: If all external components (motor, heater, sensors) test correctly and E07 persists, replace the main control PCB with the exact Gram part number for your model. Transfer any removable wiring harnesses and mounting hardware carefully.
