Possible Causes
Faulty moisture sensor input, Incorrect NTC readings, Main control PCB software error, Corrupted cycle parameters
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before testing sensors or accessing the control board.
- Clean and check moisture sensor: Clean the sensor bars inside the drum with vinegar or mild detergent to remove residues. Ensure wiring to the sensor is intact.
- Verify NTC sensors: Test the drum and exhaust NTC sensors for correct resistance at room temperature. Replace any sensor that is out of specification.
- Power reset: Disconnect the dryer from mains for 10 minutes to reset the control. Reconnect and run a standard cotton cycle to see if E19 reappears.
- Software/PCB issues: If sensors are good and cleaning does not help, the main control PCB may have a software or calculation fault. Replacement of the PCB or reprogramming by a service technician may be required.
