How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before deep cleaning.
- Clean drum and filter housing: Wipe the drum, door seal, and filter housing with a mild detergent solution. Dry thoroughly.
- Clean condenser and sump: On condenser models, remove and clean the condenser and check the sump for stagnant water. Clean and flush as needed.
- Run hot cycle empty: Run a high-heat cycle with no clothes for 20–30 minutes to help dry and deodorize the interior.
- Improve ventilation: Ensure the dryer has adequate space around it and that the vent (if fitted) is not discharging into a confined area.
