How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before deep cleaning.

  • Clean drum and filter housing: Wipe the drum, door seal, and filter housing with a mild detergent solution. Dry thoroughly.
  • Clean condenser and sump: On condenser models, remove and clean the condenser and check the sump for stagnant water. Clean and flush as needed.
  • Run hot cycle empty: Run a high-heat cycle with no clothes for 20–30 minutes to help dry and deodorize the interior.
  • Improve ventilation: Ensure the dryer has adequate space around it and that the vent (if fitted) is not discharging into a confined area.
