How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before removing the control panel.
- Access control panel: Remove the top cover and the screws securing the front control fascia. Carefully pull the panel forward.
- Check connections: Inspect the ribbon cable and connectors between the user interface board and the main control PCB. Reseat all connectors firmly.
- Inspect for damage: Look for signs of corrosion, moisture, or burnt components on the display board and main PCB. Dry any moisture and clean light corrosion with isopropyl alcohol.
- Test buttons/knob: Verify that mechanical buttons or rotary selector move freely and are not stuck. Replace the fascia or UI board if unresponsive.
- Replace PCB if needed: If connections and UI board are good but E09 persists, the main control PCB may be defective and require replacement.
