Possible Causes
Heavily blocked condenser unit, Blocked front air channels, Lint build-up in internal ducting, Faulty condenser fan (if fitted)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the dryer from the mains before cleaning internal components.
- Remove and clean condenser: Open the condenser access door, remove the condenser unit, and rinse thoroughly under running water to remove lint. Allow to drain and dry before refitting.
- Clean air channels: Use a soft brush and vacuum to clean the condenser compartment, front grille, and any accessible ducts.
- Check condenser fan: If your New World model has a dedicated condenser fan, access it from the rear or side panel. Ensure it spins freely and is not obstructed by lint. Replace if seized or noisy.
- Inspect seals: Check the rubber seals around the condenser for damage or gaps that could affect airflow. Replace worn seals.
- Reassemble and test: Refit the condenser correctly, ensuring it is fully seated. Restore power and run a test cycle to confirm that E16 is cleared and drying performance is restored.
