Zanussi dryer interior light does not work, but the dryer otherwise operates normally.

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before replacing the light or accessing the door switch.

• 1. Replace bulb (if fitted): On models with a replaceable bulb, remove the light cover inside the drum, unscrew the old bulb, and fit a new bulb of the correct type and wattage.

• 3. Door switch: The same switch that detects door open/closed often controls the light. If the light never comes on but the dryer still detects the door, the light contact or wiring may be faulty.
