Possible Causes
Clogged drip tray or drain hole, Misaligned water pan, Cracked drip pan, Missing or damaged drain tube grommet
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the smoker to cool completely before removing pans or trays.
Steps:
- Clean drip tray and drain: Remove the drip tray and clean out grease and debris. Locate the drain hole and clear any blockage with a pipe cleaner or small brush.
- Check water pan placement: Ensure the water pan is seated correctly and not overflowing. Do not overfill beyond the marked level.
- Inspect drip pan and drain tube: Look for cracks or holes in the drip pan and ensure the drain tube (if equipped) is securely attached and not split.
Repair: Replace a damaged drip tray, water pan, or drain tube assembly as needed.
