Charger intermittently stops charging without any error code; charging resumes if unplugged and replugged.

Note: Intermittent faults can be difficult to reproduce; inspect carefully for anything loose or heat-damaged.

• Step 1 – Observe pattern: Note whether shutdowns occur at high current, high temperature, or when the cable is moved.
• Step 2 – Check all connectors: With power off, open the BougeRV charger and firmly reseat all plug-in connectors on the main board, power module, and sensor boards.
• Step 3 – Inspect solder joints: Look for dull, cracked, or ringed solder joints on high-current components. These may require professional re-soldering or board replacement.
• Step 4 – Cable strain relief: Ensure the output cable strain relief is tight and that movement of the cable does not stress internal connections.
• Step 5 – Thermal checks: If the unit is very hot when it stops, improve ventilation or reduce current setting. Persistent thermal shutdowns may indicate a failing BougeRV power module or fan.
