Possible Causes
Failed touch panel or keypad, Loose UI cable to main board, Liquid ingress into display area, Faulty UI microcontroller
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect mains power before removing the front cover or display module.
- Step 1 – Power reset: Turn off power for several minutes and restore. Check if the display becomes responsive.
- Step 2 – Inspect for moisture: Look around the display window for signs of condensation or water trails. If present, dry the area thoroughly and identify the source of ingress (e.g., failed gasket).
- Step 3 – Reseat UI cable: Remove the front cover and carefully unplug/replug the cable between the display board and main control board.
- Step 4 – Check for physical damage: Examine the keypad or touch surface for cracks or impact marks. A cracked panel usually requires replacement.
- Step 5 – Replace UI board: If the interface remains unresponsive, replace the BougeRV display / user interface board. If the new UI board behaves the same, the main control board may be at fault.
