Possible Causes
Corrupted configuration data, Failed EEPROM or flash memory on main board, Interrupted firmware update, Excessive write cycles to memory
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: Memory faults can often be resolved with a factory reset or firmware reflash.
- Step 1 – Factory reset: Use the BougeRV front panel or app to perform a full factory reset. This will clear custom settings but may restore operation.
- Step 2 – Firmware reflash: Follow BougeRV's official procedure to reload the latest firmware onto the charger.
- Step 3 – Avoid power interruptions: Ensure the charger remains powered and undisturbed during any firmware update to prevent further corruption.
- Step 4 – Board replacement: If E20 persists after reset and reflash, the EEPROM/flash memory on the main control board is likely defective and the board should be replaced.
