How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Note: This is a software/onboarding issue rather than a hardware defect.

  • 1. Verify identifiers: Double-check the charger serial number and any pairing code printed on the unit or documentation.
  • 2. Update app: Ensure you are using the latest version of the Easee app.
  • 3. Improve connectivity: Stand near the charger with good mobile data or WiFi while pairing.
  • 4. Check ownership: If the charger was previously installed, it may be linked to another account. Request a transfer or reset from the previous owner or Easee support.
  • 5. Factory reset (installer only): Perform a factory reset to clear previous ownership and retry commissioning.
