Charger fails to start charging only in wet or rainy conditions

Safety: Water and electricity are a dangerous combination. Do not force operation in wet conditions if faults occur.

• 1. Inspect socket: Look for water droplets or corrosion inside the Type 2 socket. Dry thoroughly and consider using a protective cover when not in use.
• 2. Check cable entry: Ensure the cable gland is tight and the cable sheath is intact.
• 3. Examine enclosure: Look for cracks or gaps around the housing and mounting points.
• 4. Improve weather protection: Install a small canopy or shield above the charger to reduce direct rain exposure.
• 5. Replace compromised components: If repeated moisture-related faults occur, replace the socket module, gaskets, or entire backplate as needed.
