Possible Causes
Loose connection between front module and backplate, Faulty LED driver on front PCB, Moisture damage to front module, Firmware glitch affecting LED control
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: LED issues may not affect charging but can hide other status indications.
- 1. Power-cycle: Turn the charger off and on at the breaker to clear any temporary control glitches.
- 2. Reseat front module: With power off, remove and reattach the front module to ensure a solid connection to the backplate contacts.
- 3. Inspect for moisture: Check the front cover and LED area for signs of condensation or water ingress.
- 4. Test charging: Confirm that charging still works correctly via the app and vehicle, even if LEDs are unreliable.
- 5. Replace front module: If flickering persists, replace the front module containing the LED driver.
