Charger makes loud humming or buzzing noise during operation

Note: A soft hum is normal, but loud or new noises should be investigated.

• 1. Identify source: Listen closely to determine whether the noise comes from the contactor area, transformer, or enclosure.
• 2. Check mounting: Ensure the charger is firmly mounted to a solid surface and that all internal components are secured.
• 3. Reduce load: Temporarily lower the maximum current in the app to see if the noise decreases.
• 4. Inspect contactor: If the contactor is chattering or buzzing loudly, it may have a failing coil and should be replaced.
• 5. Add damping (if appropriate): Use manufacturer-approved mounting pads or spacers to reduce resonance.
