How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Warning: Do not repeatedly power-cycle during an update unless instructed by support.
- 1. Check network stability: Ensure the charger has a stable WiFi or cellular connection before retrying the update.
- 2. Retry update via app: Use the Easee app or portal to manually trigger a firmware update again.
- 3. Power-cycle once: Turn OFF the breaker for 60 seconds, then turn it back ON and attempt the update again.
- 4. Factory reset (installer only): If the charger remains unstable, perform a factory reset and reconfigure, then apply the latest firmware.
- 5. Replace main board: If firmware cannot be written due to flash memory errors, the main control board may need replacement.
