Easee charger with integrated or external energy meter reports a meter communication error; load management or billing may fail.

Note: Charging may still work, but metering and load control can be affected.

• 1. Inspect wiring: Check the communication cable between the Easee charger and the energy meter. Ensure correct polarity (A/B) and secure terminations.
• 2. Verify meter settings: Confirm that the meter address, baud rate, and protocol match the configuration in the Easee installer settings.
• 3. Check meter power: Ensure the meter is powered and its display is active.
• 4. Test bus integrity: If multiple devices share the bus, temporarily disconnect others to see if communication is restored.
• 5. Replace faulty device: If wiring and settings are correct, either the meter or the charger’s communication interface may be defective and require replacement.
