Possible Causes
Vehicle onboard charger fault, Incompatible charging mode or firmware bug in EV, Marginal CP/PP signal levels, Ground reference differences
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: When the EV reports an error but the charger does not, the root cause is often in the vehicle.
- 1. Try another charger: Charge the vehicle at a different public or home charger to see if the error repeats.
- 2. Try another vehicle: Connect a different EV to the Easee charger to confirm it operates normally.
- 3. Update vehicle firmware: Check with the vehicle manufacturer for any charging-related software updates.
- 4. Inspect cable and connectors: Ensure all pins are clean and undamaged.
- 5. Provide logs to dealer: Export charger logs (if available) and share them with the vehicle dealer for diagnosis.
