How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Warning: Moisture inside an energized charger is hazardous. Isolate power before opening.
- 1. Turn off power: Switch off the upstream breaker and verify the charger is de-energized.
- 2. Open enclosure: Remove the front module and gently dry any visible moisture with a lint-free cloth. Allow the unit to air dry completely.
- 3. Inspect seals: Check the perimeter gasket, cable gland, and any knockouts for damage or improper installation.
- 4. Reseat or replace gland: Tighten the cable gland to compress the seal around the cable. Replace if cracked or deformed.
- 5. Improve mounting: Ensure the charger is mounted vertically as specified and that water cannot run down the cable into the gland.
- 6. Replace damaged housing: If the enclosure is cracked or warped, replace the housing or complete backplate.
