Possible Causes
Loose supply connections causing voltage drop, Undersized wiring for circuit length, Utility brownout or low service voltage, Faulty voltage sensing on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power at the breaker before inspecting wiring.
- Check for loose connections: A qualified person should inspect the terminal block inside the Emporia charger and the breaker lugs in the panel for tightness and signs of overheating.
- Verify wire gauge: Ensure the branch circuit wire size matches the breaker rating and run length. Long runs with small gauge wire can cause excessive voltage drop.
- Monitor voltage under load: An electrician can measure voltage at the charger while a heavy load is applied. Significant sag indicates supply issues.
- Power cycle and retest: After tightening connections, restore power and attempt charging again.
- If supply is stable but E07 persists: The control board’s voltage sensing circuit may be faulty and require replacement.
