Possible Causes
Emporia app schedule preventing charging, Load management limit reached due to other loads, Incorrect CT configuration, Firmware bug in scheduling logic
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No high-voltage work is required for this issue.
- Check schedules: In the Emporia app, review all active schedules and time-of-use settings. Temporarily disable all schedules and attempt a manual start.
- Review load management settings: If using Emporia CT-based load management, verify that the main service limit is set correctly and that other large loads are not causing the charger to be throttled to zero.
- Recalibrate CTs: Run any available CT calibration routine in the app to ensure accurate load readings.
- Update firmware: Install any available firmware updates for the charger.
- If E19 persists with all smart features disabled: Perform a factory reset. If still unresolved, the control board firmware may be corrupted and the board may need replacement.
