Possible Causes
Faulty Wi‑Fi/Ethernet module, Antenna damage or disconnection, Corrupted network configuration, Router or DHCP issues preventing IP assignment
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Network troubleshooting is low‑risk electrically, but do not open the charger unless qualified.
Steps to try:
- Check home network: Verify your router is powered, internet is working, and Wi‑Fi signal is strong at the charger location.
- Reboot router and charger: Power‑cycle your router, then turn OFF and ON the charger’s breaker. Wait several minutes for reconnection.
- Reconfigure network: Using the Hager app or local web interface, forget and re‑add the Wi‑Fi network, entering the correct password. For Ethernet, check the cable and router port.
- Inspect antenna (technician if internal): If the charger uses an external antenna, ensure it is firmly connected and undamaged. Internal antennas should only be checked by a technician.
- If E14 persists: The network module or communication board may be defective and should be replaced by a Hager‑authorised technician.
