Charger randomly stops charging before the vehicle battery is full, no error code is displayed, charging can be restarted manually.

• 1. Check cable and plug:
  • Inspect the Type 2 plug and cable for movement when connected; excessive play can cause intermittent CP contact.
• 2. Monitor temperature:
  • During charging, periodically feel the charger housing and plug for excessive heat.
  • If hot, see overheating guidance and consider reducing current.
• 3. Inspect CP wiring:
  • With power off, check the control pilot conductor terminations inside the charger.
• 4. Grid stability:
  • If interruptions coincide with other heavy loads switching, have an electrician check supply quality and breaker sizing.
• 5. Replace worn components:
  • If mechanical wear is found, replace the Type 2 socket or tethered cable.
