Charger’s front panel buttons (start/stop, mode) do not respond or require excessive force, but LEDs still work.

Safety first: Isolate mains before removing the front panel.

• 1. Check for stuck buttons:
  • Press each button several times to see if it returns freely.
• 2. Inspect front panel:
  • Remove the front cover and examine the keypad PCB or membrane.
  • Look for signs of moisture or corrosion.
• 3. Reseat ribbon cable:
  • Disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable between the keypad and main board.
• 4. Dry and clean:
  • If moisture is present, dry the area thoroughly and clean contacts with appropriate cleaner.
• 5. Replace keypad:
  • If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the front panel keypad assembly.
